Gospel Meeting with Brian Haines
YOU ARE INVITED!
Our scheduled gospel meeting with Brian Haines is set for October 13-18. Brother Haines preaches for the church of Christ in Cornelius, Oregon. The topics planned are:
Seven Churches and The Purpose of the Church (Lesson on the purposes of the local church as seen in the seven churches of Asia)
The Simplicity of Christ (Looking at how many false doctrines today - MDR, AD 70, Institutionalism, issues of discipline, etc. - exist because we overlook the simplicity of the doctrine of Christ)
Culture of Negativity (How our negative attitudes affect our spiritual disposition)
The Work of Baptism (General lesson on baptism and how it works)
The Transfiguration (A contrast between the old and new covenants)
Don’t Be a Victim (A survey of the great victims of the Bible, and how we avoid falling into that snare)
Dangers of Being Wired (Being mindful of the positive and negative spiritual impacts of technology)
Barnabas (A look at the concept of how Christ died for Barnabas)
